Company Leadership Peter J. Bichler, RLA -Biography  Director of Planning & Landscape Architecture As Director of Planning and Landscape Architecture for Zone 5 Designs, LLC Peter Bichler has more than 19 years of design and construction experience in the landscape industry, with projects involving landscape architecture, golf course architecture, master development planning, land and site planning, stream restoration and environmental planning, and irrigation design. Peter has worked on numerous municipal, commercial, and residential large-scale landscape and irrigation projects throughout the Front Range with specific roles ranging from project management to construction cost estimation and value engineering. In addition, he has worked on numerous golf course routing plans, construction documents, and associated residential communities throughout the United States, including Florida, Michigan, Texas, New Jersey, Colorado, and the Big Island of Hawaii.
Prior to starting Zone 5 Designs, Peter served as Director of Planning & Design for Land Architects International designing large Master Planned Developments throughout Colorado and the continental United States. Previous experience includes working as an Associate Golf Course Architect for Mexico’s largest development company, Grupo Situr, preparing large port developments with a golf course component throughout Mexico and Costa Rica. His additional international experience includes the preparation of master plans and construction documents for numerous golf course developments throughout Japan and Indonesia. Peter has also managed the Landscape Construction/Design Division at Aquatic and Wetland Company (AWC) and is familiar with all aspects of the landscape industry, including annual budget projections, sales, estimating, billing, cost accounting and daily business operations. While at AWC, he managed stream and riparian restoration projects, a fish observatory/stream creation using contaminated ground water and numerous environmental restoration projects.
